Assistant Financial Accountant - to £25,000 per annum plus study support - Lichfield

The Role
As Assistant Financial Accountant you will be central to the day-to-day functions of the Finance Team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
- balance sheet reconciliations
- monthly reporting
- VAT calculations
- Assisting with all aspects of the year end process
- Monitoring of KPIs
- Maintaining the financial database and providing analysis for board reporting purposes
You may also be required to train other members of the finance team, with other ad-hoc responsibilities required as the role develops.
The Candidate
The successful Assistant Financial Accountant will need a strong base in financial accounting processes, with experience in reconciliations, assisting with year-end processes and VAT calculations. You will ideally be part qualified ACCA or have completed your AAT in order to be considered for this position. Previous experience in a complex, growing business will also be advantageous.
You will receive a salary of up to £25,000 per annum plus study support within a company who values their employees' on-going development.
