Interim Project Accountant is needed to join an established business in Colchester to work a 6 month fixed term contract, to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for system and process improvements, streamlining processes and then implementing these within the finance team.
You will be driving projects throughout the finance team and the wider business, as well as handling month-end close activities, reconciling information and reporting directly in to the Finance Director.
With the nature of this contract you must have strong attention to detail as well as having excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sage migration experience as well as an overall system implementation knowledge
- Investigate the use of systems across the business
- Experience working within system projects and process improvements
- The ability to implement controls
