The Permanent Division of Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Group Financial Accountant on behalf of a specialist service business with offices in Bedford
The Role
As Group Financial Accountant you will be involved in all aspects of Group Financial Accounting and reporting matters including external reporting of annual and quarterly statements, consolidations of income, maintenance of group accounting policies and working closely with the Financial Controller on technical areas and changes to IFRS accounting policies. Day to day duties will consist of reviewing of monthly reports and production of consolidated monthly reports; maintenance of the month end consolidation model; intercompany and multi-currency accounting including reconciliations; quarterly and annual reporting; developing, documenting and maintaining a quarterly and annual reporting routine; consolidated group statutory financial accounts; UK statutory accounts; preparation for Audit; review and implementation of new IFRS accounting standards as they arise; communication of new IFRS requirements to the team and the business and other ad-hoc work.
Your Profile
You will be a Qualified Accountant ideally trained in a large Practice and with hands on experience of group financial reporting and statutory consolidations and looking for a role where you can further develop your technical accounting skillset and financial reporting experience with a balance of ongoing duties contributing to other projects across the business. You will be interpersonally effective and a self starter with the ability to work with the wider team.
