Senior Accountant

Small firm of Chartered Accountants seeks experienced Accountant and auditor to assist the Partner with all aspects of accounts and management accounts, personal and business taxation for a portfolio of clients. Candidates should be qualified by experience or AAT qualified.
* Preparation of Limited Company accounts and related tax computations
* Preparation of management accounts
* Working with a portfolio of clients
* Reviewing jobs completed by junior members of staff
* Working as a part of the senior accounts team and providing help to staff on completing jobs and queries
* Providing management support to the partner, including dealing with client queries on the telephone
* Correspondence with HMRC etc
* Controlling a database to ensure accounts/tax return submitted deadlines
* Good communication skills in dealing with people face to face
* Support to the Office manager when required
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Good interpersonal skills
