Financial Modeller

My client an instantly recognisable organisation with excellent opportunity for career progression, is actively searching an experienced Financial Modeller/ Analyst to support the creation of a new bank.

As part of the Commercial Finance team, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will support the build of the area which will provide advanced commercial modelling and analytics to the business. The role will inform strategy through combining analytical assessments of market growth opportunities with the innovation new technologies could bring. As an expert we’ll ask you to build the commercial insight to help assess new propositions, functions and process development through feasibility and commercial impact assessments.

To succeed in the role you will have experience of working in a complex commercial finance function within a financial institution, ideally with exposure to retail banking. You’ll love numbers and get a buzz from complex financial analysis. With a sound understanding of commercial constructs, product development and financial analysis techniques you’ll be able to deliver advanced, dynamic commercial models. You’ll have the ability to think strategically with a love for discovering what you don’t know. We like to keep things simple so you’ll need to be able to convey complex technical issues in a straightforward and transparent manner.
