Progressive and entrepreneurial SME group business, based in Bristol are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller / Company Accountant. Reporting directly to the owner, and managing a small office of accounts and administration, this role would suit a proactive, qualified accountant, with a hands-on flexible attitude. The business has a number of small interests, including retail and property.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Managing the finance and administration team
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Weekly and monthly reporting on sales, profit and cashflow
- Developing processes and controls
- Ad hoc projects to assist the managing director
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Experience in a SME business
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong Excel and system skills
