Are you a qualified accountant with a good knowledge of Product Control? Do you have a good understanding of Interest Rates? My client is a well respected Financial Services group in need of a qualified accountant to join their team based in London.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
-Management of month end processes including daily trading P&L reporting and balance sheet with detailed commentary
-Presenting detailed commentary covering P&L drivers, trading activity, key exposure and market context to senior trading and finance management
-Develop relationships across Trading, Risk, Operations and Middle Office
-Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with Product Control Policies and internal policy standards
The ideal applicant will have:
-Relevant Product Control experience with a solid understanding and experience with interest rates, derivatives and financial instruments
-Strong academic performance, ideally with an accountancy qualification
-Excellent communication skills required as the role entails exposure to all levels of seniority
-Track record of proving controls and processes
