Senior Commercial Analyst
Job Purpose:
The Senior Commercial Analyst will deliver advanced insight and value added analysis to the division which drives profitability, build strong relationships with key divisional contacts and support the operations to deliver their plans
Reporting into: Senior Financial Reporting Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively identify opportunities for the division to improve profitability through insight and analysis.
- Build strong relationships with key operational contacts to provide high quality analysis that helps Operations drive improvement and build bespoke BI dashboards on Pivot stream/future self-service BI tools.
- Provide analytical support on key business decisions, including new business initiatives and appraisal of projects.
- Take responsibility for challenging and improving the quality of current reporting and ensure that all KPI reporting is focused and relevant.
- Work with peers to share knowledge, ideas and best practice to drive improvements in analysis and reporting across the division.
Profile:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- 3+ years analytical experience.
- Proven track record of delivering quantifiable benefits to businesses.
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Results driven, can work at fast pace whilst ensuring accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modelling and analytical techniques essential.
- Strong understanding of BI technical infrastructure essential.
