Management Accountant

A leading Oxfordshire based technology start-up are looking to hire a Management Accountant. The job has arisen due to my client's remarkable growth over the last 12 months (including acquiring several new entities). You should be a very confident, assertive and dynamic individual.

My client has a preference for candidates who are nearly/newly qualified, i.e. ACCA or CIMA. Relevant management accounting experience within technology/Services is extremely desirable.

The role will be reporting in to the Group Financial Controller and the duties include monthly management accounts, profit and loss analysis, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting and reviewing the financial control process.

It's a very dynamic working environment and candidates must demonstrate previous experience of scrutinising and reviewing processes. Candidates need to be strong enough to challenge senior managers and stakeholders.

There is a significant amount of Excel use in the role, so candidates should be confident building pivot tables and v-look ups from scratch. Exposure to macros would be an excellent bonus.

This role is incredibly progressive and will suit candidates who are ambitious, proactive and thrive on responsibility. My client is looking for someone who can be a future Financial Controller or CFO.
