The Opportunity:

A fantastic 3-month opportunity has arisen with a private equity backed, multi-national technology business based in central London. This exciting prospect is a result of investment from the portfolio that will directly result in a 10-fold increase in the current client base. With such growth it is essential that the foundations are already accurately in place and a commercially minded ‘Financial Modeller’ with SQL exposure is what is required.

The Role:

You will have the opportunity to build a cash-flow forecasting model from scratch in order to keep the working capital as tight as possible. There is a current model in place that needs refining as it is difficult to integrate. Thus building a simple model that is scalable and easy to review is currently what is required before this next growth phase. The model will need to be able to look at: where the money is coming from, where it is going too and how long it takes to get there. Moreover you will be extracting queries so previous experience of SQL will be a very big advantage.

The Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (preferred)
• Worked for an international business
• Previously built a cash forecasting model from scratch
• Exposure to SQL
• Exposure to multi-currency / high-volume (preferred)
• Exceptional excel skills
