Following a recent acquisition, our client is now looking to secure an exceptional Interim FD to begin what is likely to be a significant journey of growth.
This role will be recruited ahead of a permanent hire and is likely to last for between 6 and 12 months.
The successful interim will automatically be considered for the permanent role but your interest in this aspect is not a prerequisite for applying.
Applicants must have excellent working capital experience and generating cash needs to be a part of your core skillset. Your ability to raise finance and work effectively with a wide range of external stakeholders will be key to your success.
Identifying new deals to generate working capital and implementing a range of tactics to generate cash will be a significant part of the role and the stated objective is to take this business from £30m to over £100m in reasonably short order.
Part of unlocking this growth will rest with utilising the factory as effectively and efficiently as possible. Your background in heavy engineering will be useful here and your ability to work closely with non-finance leaders will again drive significant value from your commercial analysis.
Underpinning all of this will be the finance function that you spec out as part of the business’ new future. In many ways it will be a blank sheet of paper and the scalable rigour which you implement will allow nimble decision making across all areas of the operation.
Candidates must be qualified (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) and available for an immediate start.
