Commercial Finance Manager

A well-established U.K. Charity is looking for a talented Commercial Finance Manager to take the lead on reporting, forecasting, budgetary and performance analysis across the Grants function of the business.

This is a great assignment for someone who wants to work with autonomy and deal with senior stakeholders. The hiring manager describes the role as:

To successfully perform this role, you will need to be:

• A qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Able to communicate key financial messages and influence management action. Interpreting complex information and translate it into a form for easy decision making
• An accomplished business partner who builds relationships effectively and has a track record of dealing with senior stakeholders.
• Highly analytical and able to drive actionable insights from the numbers.

A little more information about the role:

• Direct reporting line in to the Head of Charitable Operations and you will also liaise with the Head of Finance to ensure that all inter-business processes with the charity are understood, documents and supported.
• Involvement in reporting, forecasting, budgetary and performance analysis across this business division.
• Present high-level monthly operational and financial results to senior management. Ensure compliance with the requirements of external funding and oversight bodies.
• Prepare business cases and evaluate commercial business decisions.
