Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the role involves preparing high quality analysis and insight into the Group’s current and forecast financial performance, including on an ad-hoc basis, to support the internal decision making processes and the presentation of results externally.

Job duties include:

  • Dedicated point of contact within Group Finance for providing investor-related insight and answers to ad-hoc queries raised by the Senior Leadership Team, Group Investor Relations team, Group FP&A and other functions.
  • Maintain and prepare the quarterly Investor Relations Financial Report, working in conjunction with the Group Business Intelligence team, to ensure that it remains up-to-date and addresses current and future investor focus. 
  • Preparation and validation of quarterly KPI press release information to ensure accuracy and integrity of information as well as reviewing subsidiary financial press releases and Investor presentations in conjunction with Group Investor Relations and Group Media Relations.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external presentations for the Group CEO and CFO
  • This will include the sourcing of information, preparation of supporting analysis and trends, review and due diligence thereon.
  • Support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Group FP&A team by providing high quality analysis and insight into the Group's current and forecast financial performance.  This includes analysing the Group's actual monthly result analysis and providing ad-hoc financial analysis to support Group forecast decision making

Skills/Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2 years PQE in a blue chip / big 4
  • Computer literate including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting and consolidation systems such as HFM and Essbase
