An interim Financial Accountant is sought for an initial three month contract with a very fast growing company in the City. With more than 25 offices in 16 countries they are a leader in their field, have doubled in size in the past two years and are continuing to grow both organically and by acquisition.
Reporting to the Head of UK Finance, the interim Financial Accountant will assist in ensuring the successful integration of a recently acquired business by:
· Managing departmental teams to discover errors in account reconciliations; reviewing the teams’ work and correcting errors wherever they are found;
· Ensuring that the new combined bank & other reconciliations are accurate; provide training and guidance to all finance and non-finance teams.
· Delivering a new, uniform and robust set of processes and ensuring their successful implementation.
· Assisting in training all users of the new processes and ensuring they are fully bought into the need to maintain these.
The interim Financial Accountant will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CA preferred) who is likely to have trained within a small / medium sized practice and who may also possess some financial accounting and balance sheet reporting skills. You will have an outstanding eye for detail, be comfortable breaking down a complex problem into component parts and will be a confident communicator with a strength of character to boot. You will enjoy the challenges of working for a constantly developing organisation and may also be open to a longer contract.
Rate: £290 - £325 per day.
