A leading global business group, is now recruiting for an Qualified Accountant (ideal for a 1st time mover) to join its award winning team, and enjoy the challenge of not only a technical but also a genuine commercial role.

The vacancy is due to internal promotion, and requires an ambitious Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a 'hands on' role. During the initial 12-16 months, your core duties will include a mix of management and financial reporting, and include balance sheet, P&L analysis, VAT, KPI's, and a variety of project work. As you learn more about the business and after this timeframe, it is envisaged that you will be promoted, playing a more strategic role. You will be joining a growing business and this a career role with many opportunities. You will play an integral part of a management team and help to manage/support the future growth of the business. You will also be reporting to line management whom are happy for you to make suggestions/improvement ideas. This is an ideal opportunity for a 1st time mover from practice seeking their first industry role. Good Excel skills are essential as well as:-

* Excellent communication,presentation and organizational skills
* Experience of working in fast-paced business culture (within tight deadlines)
* The ability to work under pressure
* Experience of interacting with and supporting operational teams
