Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant - 6 months + based in Bristol

This an exciting opportunity for an Financial Accountant to be part of a very well known, commercial organisation, based in Bristol. You will be responsible for preparing management, statutory and regulatory reporting for the business.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
* Producing and taking ownership of accurate and timely monthly management, statutory and regulatory reporting
* Producing commentary and supporting information in order to understand and interpret Management and Financial results and present to Senior Management
* Engage in compliance reviews, provide assurance over the operation of key controls and ensure control framework is robust at all times
* Pro-active raising and remediation of issues, reviewing reconciliations and key controls and ensuring all accounting information is correct, timely and fully supports the businesses reporting requirements
* Support the wider Finance Team and other key stakeholders

Requirements of the Financial Accountant:
* Be a qualified or part qualified accountant competent in double entry and with experience of reporting a full P&L & Balance Sheet
* Good understanding of analytical review with excellent attention to detail, promptly indentifying, querying and understanding unusual trends within reporting outputs
* Proven track record of delivery of multiple pieces of work to tight deadlines, pro-actively managing issues to ensure accurate reporting
* Strong excel skills and ideally experience in SAP
