Our client is a multi-site manufacturing business. 

The business is recruiting an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management including corporate reporting, annual statutory reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal controls.  As well as having a strong technical background, the role will suit candidates with an excellent commercial acumen partnering the management team towards the goal of profitable growth in line with strategic objectives.  A summary of the key aspects of the role are as follows:

  • Management of a small team of Finance professionals
  • Manage month end reporting process including variance analysis
  • Development of an environment of rigorous controls and processes
  • Manage the completion of annual statutory accounts / liaising with external auditors
  • Support working capital improvement initiatives including supply chain financing
  • Development and enhancement of a Tier 1 ERP system

The successful candidate will qualified with a depth of experience in a multi-site manufacturing (ideally international) operation. You will be IT literate - experience of an implementation of an ERP system would be useful, but not essential.  You will possess first class communication skills with a strong track record of man management and the commercial skills required by liaison with non-financial personnel.  Excellent opportunities for progression exist within the business.
