Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a large Milton Keynes based Client with their recruitment of a Management Accountant, on a permanent basis.
The Management Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, and will work very closely with the Head of Finance. They will provide an excellent level of financial insight and understanding that underpins decisions made within the business. Acting as a key stakeholder they will provide operational finance support to both financial and non financial staff through the oversight of the transactional finance heads and partnering with senior business managers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high quality management information to the Head of Finance and generating accurate and timely management accounts and commentary.
- Oversight for the monthly income and expenditure reconciliations and ensuring the Business Unit accounting policies are adhered to.
- Providing financial support by working closely with Directors and Subsidiary Managing Directors to ensure the regional P&L's and associated KPI's are accurate and are used by the teams as a management tool.
- Indirect involvement in annual budgeting activities for the business streams, assisting the FP&A team in the preparation of the annual budgets.
- Identifying best practice and ensuring consistent processes are in place, implementing and upholding a robust controls environment and ensuring processes are consistent and streamlined.
- Working with the offshore finance team to monitor and optimise the work that is done offshore.
- Act as a visible advocate and role model for our purpose and values, creating an environment where our values are consistently demonstrated through your own and your teams' behaviors.
The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual who has experience of management accounting, and providing detailed analysis to senior level stakeholders. They will be an ambitious, career focused individual who possesses first class communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels. The Management Accountant will require exceptional systems skills, including advanced Excel.
Our Client is offering a salary of £42,000 - £45,000 + Benefits.
