Our client is one of the UKs leading utilities companies and they are looking for a Treasury Manager to join their award winning treasury team. The role will focus on group wide financing strategy to fund various ventures the organisation is expecting to undertake in the foreseeable future. The role will also focus on building essential relationships with credit rating agencies, and influencing senior stakeholders, giving the successful candidate a the chance to make an impact on the future  success of the company.

Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Developing long term funding strategy and providing advice across the group
• Proving financing strategy for future Joint Ventures, M&A and future investments
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with the rating agencies (Moodys, Fitch, S&P etc) to gain credibility

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant/Treasury/Finance professional with experience within a corporate finance function in a similar organisation (either utilities or leading FTSE 100s). Experience working alongside credit rating agencies and project finance is essential. The role will be both rewarding and stretching, proving the successful candidate with a great opportunity to develop their career.
