This market leading clinical research company with a global presence is seeking an experience qualified accountant to join their team as UK Shared Services Manager. Reporting to the Director, this is a high profile role with responsibility for the management of 25 staff working within the A/P, A/R, Central Accounting and Payroll departments. The Shared Services Manager will be a key member of the management team within the wider global Shared Services organisation of 70 people. The postholder will ensure that all activities performed by the team are compliant with internal and external requirements and deadlines and will contribute fully in driving a process improvement culture.
Our client is seeking applications from individuals who can demonstrate a strong track record in managing large teams and proven business acumen. The ability to delegate and inspire others to achieve is required along with outstanding interpersonal, supervisory and presentation skills. Experience of running a multi function shared services team would be beneficial.
