Infrastructure services company that have experienced fast growth going from 30 people to nearly 200 in less than 2 years and projected to be 250/300 within the next year

Your new role

The Financial Controller reports to the Finance Director and has currently 5 reports but that will grow. You would be responsible for all transactions, reporting, management accounts, tax, banking etc. There is a Head of Commercial Finance with a team of 5 who reports to the FD and manages billing, credit control and all aspects of FP&A.

The company is a registered Plc although not listed so the candidate will need to know how to report under IFRS and be technically strong. Strong team management and experience of mentoring is essential.


What you'll need to succeed

As the company is growing so rapidly someone who has strong systems skills and process improvement experience is vital.

The successful candidate must be qualified with experience of both larger, more corporate environments and SME. Ideally someone who has already worked for an early stage business and taken it through to maturity. Emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative approach are required.

Infrastructure services or utilities background would be all useful but open on sector if the candidate has been involved in stock control and asset management
