We are currently recruiting for a Systems Management Accountant for a very highly regarded, rapidly expanding £130m t/o business based on the outskirts of Warrington. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager your remit will be to improve the information capture, flow and reporting of the companies financial data through improving processes, systems utilisation and overall controls with a view of providing full visibility across financial/operational performance. Key Responsibilities will include:
Systems experience is the key criteria our client is looking for and as such candidates who are either part qualified or qualified will be considered but what is essential is experience in a Systems/management accounting role. You will be familiar with working for large and complex organisations with a high volume of users, sites and income streams and will have the ability to quickly demonstrate expertise in understanding and utilising multiple existing systems . Strong MS Excel skills are required - as the role requires considerable data manipulation, formulae and controlling data - and a knowledge of Agresso would be of particular interest. Visual basic code writing would be beneficial but is not essential. A competitive salary (Envisaged £30-42k bur dependant on qualifications, skills and experience) is complemented with benefits including 22 days holiday, Parking, 37 hour week and Pension. This role is based in impressive offices and within a friendly and supportive finance team.

- Production of all cross-organisation financial information.
- Lead on the standardisation of all management accounting processes to streamline reporting & reduce reporting timeframes.
- Continual improvement of all management accounting processes.
- Operating a the finance representative on all cross department/cross organisation systems, project and process improvements.
- Financial integration and reporting from all corporate and external systems.
- Operating as the conduit between Finance and the IT Agresso experts to improve reporting, budgeting and forecasting financial models.
- Documenting all management accounts processes, logging how these interface with operations and billing on every contract.
- Streamlining and modernising the process for contract billing procedures
