Currently recruiting an exciting new Part Time Financial Controller role for our client a growing business based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Due to growth our client now needs to bring in a financial controller to the business to set up and run the accounts for the organisation. Our client is flexible and the role can be based both in the office and at home for the right person.
The role duties will involve some of the following:
Maintaining the accounting books and records, including cash book, purchase and sales ledger and nominal ledger
Preparing all necessary monthly reconciliations
Preparing monthly management accounts to include accruals, prepayments, depreciation, work in progress
Preparing VAT returns
Preparing rolling profit and cash projections
Liaising as necessary with the bank
Liaising as necessary with external accountants
Dealing with all other compliance issues in conjunction with external accountants
Working closely with the owner/CEO in the running of the business
The ideal candidate will have previous working experience of supporting a growing business. Working with Sage would also be an advantage as this is the system of choice to be implemented which would be driven by the chosen candidate.
