International group of companies currently require a Financial Controller/Senior Management Accountant to join their head office function in Leeds. This expanding business has a truly entrepreneurial feel and as such they require an experienced accountant to take a lead role in the overall operation of the finance function.
Working directly with the Managing Director, you will cover a wide range of roles within the production of the monthly budgets and forecasts. You will oversee a small team of assistant management accountants and financial accountants, pulling together the full management accounts pack at month end. You will be responsible for all commentaries and be expected to lead commercial decisions within the Finance Team to support future growth plans. As part of your role you will be expected to work with both finance and none finance divisions building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
Ideally you will have previous experience in an owner managed/SME business as either a financial controller, finance manager or senior management accountant. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification would be desirable although not essential, providing you can demonstrate previous examples of success in a similar role.
