Finance Manager

Goodman Masson are currently looking for an ACA qualified accountant (0 - 2 PQE) to move into a Finance Manager position joining an established venture capital investor with a long-term record of backing change and growth. Ideally coming from a practice background within Private Equity, Investment Management or Banking and Capital Markets. With significant backing they invest into a wide range of sectors covering Healthcare, Business Services, Technology, Education, Environmental and many more. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic, but laid back team based in the city whereby the role will constantly evolve as the business and successful candidate develop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to move into a truly fascinating industry where you take ownership of and have fantastic exposure not only to senior management, but also to their clients by presenting your work at AGM's.

Key responsibilities:

*Production of quarterly management accounts for a portfolio VCTs;
*Ownership of all aspects of the accounting and administration work involving the Funds you manage;
*Management of Loan Stock Models for the VCTs managed;
*Clearing review points raised on your work by the Financial Controller and Finance Director;
*Production of Budgets and forecasts for the VCTs managed;
*Creating quarterly stock exchange financial announcements for review by FC and FD;
*Production of detailed information for the VCT Board Reports;
*Exposure to presentation to Board level;
*Dealing with shareholder queries for the VCTs where needed;
*Ad hoc financial projects and information provision required by the FC and the wider management team.

Skills required:

*ACA qualified accountant;
*University degree educated with a solid academic background;
*Sage, Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word (intermediate), PowerPoint (some experience useful), other bespoke systems.
