Financial Controller

Elevation Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller in Huddersfield on behalf of a market leading manufacturing business that is set for continual growth over the next few years.

Reporting to the Managing Director this is a fast paced role that will form a crucial link between finance and the wider business. Producing the month end results whilst ensuring the board receive value adding management reports which drives decision making.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant with experience within the manufacturing sector looking for that next step up in their career in a dynamic and fast paced environment.


Key duties and responsibilities will include:

-Preparation of monthly management accounts
-Preparation of monthly accounting pack for submission to senior management
-Weekly Cash Flow & P&L forecasting
-Product Costing and Analysis
-Reporting on budgetary variances
-Ensure financial controls are correctly maintained and adhered to throughout the business
-Maintaining and improving the reporting capabilities within the system
-Complete and submit all HMRC submissions including Intrastat & VAT returns
-Manage, report on and reconcile all intercompany costs
-Weekly (60) & monthly payrolls using Sage 50 Payroll including Auto-enrolment
-HR & other legal compliance eg RTI and Information Security
-Year-end audit preparation
-Preparation and reporting of key KPI's for the business
