A reputable regional accountancy firm with offices across the North West are currently looking to add an extra resource to their management structure in their Manchester office in the capacity of Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager. The firm specialise in providing a range of accountancy and advisory services to owner managed and entrepreneurial businesses. This role has arisen due to new business wins and an increase in the firm's portfolio of clients.


Your new job
As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager you will work alongside another assistant manager and a manager acting as a key point of contact for a range of clients. You will be responsible for overseeing a range of audit and accounting assignments, reviewing the work of the audit team, mentoring the audit seniors in the day to day management of the assignments and also providing high level assistance on audits when necessary.


What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) who has operated as an audit senior for over three audit cycles and lives locally to either their Bolton or Manchester office. You must be competent in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion with minimum assistance from management and be confident liaising with clients on a one to one basis. This is a technical role and you must be able to demonstrate strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge.
