Head of Financial Accounts

Can you head up a sizeable financial accounting function, delivering the reporting, controls and treasury management for a well-known manufacturing organisation based near Leeds?

This is a key role within the organisation and will be hands on, providing accurate and effective financial reporting and controls with key responsibilities including but not being limited to:
- Full responsibility for financial reporting
- Annual statutory accounts process
- Management of a team of over ten people
- Analysis of all costs across board
- Treasury management including FX
- Monitoring department financial performances
- Overseeing all compliance (tax / regulatory)
- Input into financial strategy

This is a key role and will operate as part of the senior team and the successful candidate will need to be:
-A qualified Accountant with either ACA or ACCA accreditation
-A proven track record developing and delivering accurate and insightful monthly financial accounts and the statutory accounts process
-Experienced across multiple areas of finance including cash management, sales ledger, purchase ledger and balance sheets
-Experienced of working closely with senior stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and influencing skills
