Business Planning Analyst

Our client, a well-known, high quality fashion retailer currently going through an exciting period of growth and innovation, is looking to source a confident and commercially astute Business Planning Analyst to join its talented team.

The successful candidate will be an important player in providing commercial decision support and leading the wider FP&A process. This is a brand new role for the business to act as the key business partner for the Wholesale and Licencing teams, responsible for all budgeting, forecasting, as well as identifying risks and opportunities.

Main duties include:
* Business partnering divisional heads and sales team, acting as main point of contact for these stakeholders & understanding and challenging on performance
* Budgeting and forecasting - responsible for forward planning for UK wholesale and licencing
* Supporting the month end process and working with Management Accounting Team to understand performance vs forecast
* Ensuring reporting is set up to track KPIs and make improvements to process
* Ad hoc analysis

You must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a strong academic record to date, including a minimum 2:1 degree from a well-regarded institution. You will also have performed a similar, commercial-focused, business partnering role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ideally within Retail or FMCG.

Candidates must have examples to date where you have demonstrated a clear ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, externally of finance, utilising a confident, professional and credible character to influence others and liaise with Senior Managers/Directors. It's important you are able to show a passion for what drives a business and a commerciality that enables you to work beyond the numbers and partner with other to drive profitability.
