Interim Management Accountant

Frazer John Recruitment, Finance Practice are working with a large subsidiary of a global manufacturing business and an opportunity exists for a temporary Management Accountant.  The Management Accountant will report in to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for month end accounting for all operational areas.  The Management Accountant will  be required to:

• Work very closely with manufacturing and operations teams to understand the manufacturing process and provide financial input to help aid decision making.
• Explain variances and provide group and management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Development of new reporting as the needs of the business change and evolve.
• Timely production of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, management reporting, sales reporting.
• Business Partnering operations and production teams.
• Product costing on a monthly basis.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.

To be successful in this role the Management Accountant will be CIMA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years accounting experience.  Manufacturing experience is highly desirable for this role.
