Your new company
A highly respected organisation based in the Stevenage area have a new and exciting job opportunity for a Financial Accountant who is looking for their first step into a Financial Controller position.

Your new role
You will be responsible for leading a small team of finance professionals in a wide range of activities including finalisation of all statutory accounts, preparation of year and month end accounts, assisting with the preparation of Monthly Board Reports, reconciliations and VAT returns. You also will take a lead role in cashflow management and variance analysis.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified ACCA/CIMA finance professional, with proven experience in Financial Accounting. You must be highly people focussed, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Strong Microsoft Excel skills will also be an essential aspect of your application.
