Fund Accountant

A fantastic permanent opportunity has arisen within a prestigious financial services company based in Surrey. They are actively seeking a Fund Accountant to join their existing team. The role will involve statutory reporting and requires knowledge of OEICS and IMA SORP. The chosen candidate must be a part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or have demonstrable experience within financial services.

Duties will include:
• Prepare annual returns and financial statements
• Prepare revenue forecasts and yields
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns, NSO returns and other statutory returns
• Full responsibility for specific funds
• Auditor liaison
• Refresh data and change parameters
• Analyse results and report
• Control risk framework
• Develop procedures, controls and reporting to improve reporting quality
• Assist in the production of financial reports as necessary, supporting the Group
• Adhoc support to other Group Reporting

You must be:
• A part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
• Knowledge of OEICS and IA SORP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good general awareness of insurance, regulatory framework (FSA / FCA)
