Accounts Assistant 

 

Established for over twenty years, this SME Oxford client has maintained exceptionally high customer retention by maintaining professionalism, knowledge and experience. To support business growth an experienced Accounts Assistant is required to support the growing finance team.

Reporting to the finance manager duties will include

  • Processing large numbers of sales invoices and supplier statements
  • Processing receipts
  • Coding relevant VAT to the industry
  • Raising and managing sales order invoices
  • Monthly customer statement runs
  • Allocation of cash received in Sage
  • Invoice checking and credit control
  • Banking of customer cheques
  • Occasionally meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with deliveries
  • Booking meeting rooms, filing, taking occasional incoming calls

Full training will be given to understand UK and Export VAT rules/codes relevant to the industry.

You will need to have confident communication skills, excellent attention to detail accuracy and be a team player. Experience within customer service with a polite and confident telephone manner.

This is a great role for someone who is keen to develop their experience and skills in finance. Parking available based in East Oxford.
