Interim Group Financial Accountant

Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is partnering with a global business based in Cheshire and an opportunity has arisen for an interim Group Financial Accountant.
 
The Group Financial Accountant will be required to support the management team through the provision of timely and accurate financial information. The Group Financial Accountant will be required to:Prepare the budget/re-forecast for the company.

• Process day to day accounting entries for head office business.
• Process payroll entries and ensure appropriate reconciliations with payroll are maintained.
• Preparing the month end reconciliations and related tasks.
• Perform month-end close and year end close procedures.
• Process month-end close journal entries and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to month end reporting timetable for consolidated management reporting.
• Accurate third party payment runs.
• Take ownership of the monthly consolidation of financial information and preparation of management accounts.
• Provide support on projects and provide analysis as required to drive business growth.
• Demonstrate excellent planning, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Produce accurate and timely payroll information and reconciliation of outputs to payroll provider.
• Prepare financial statutory accounts and information for annual tax packs.
• Oversee preparation of the Group's statutory accounts and ensure subsidiaries' statutory accounts are produced in a timely manner in line with local regulations. 

To be successful in this role the Group Financial Accountant will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with the ability to develop solid relationships with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. Proven track record in a similar role is required.
