Management Accountant

Excellent opportunity to join a thriving business based in Leeds. The company is currently seeking an ambitious management accountant to join their finance team.

As the management accountant you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller and be responsible for a number of different aspects within the company including;
*Preparation of the monthly management accounts
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*VAT returns
*Manage stock checks
*Production of the annual Operational budget and quarterly re-forecasting
*Management of accounts staff
*Managing the operational cash flow forecasting process and presenting to the management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity that will ensure a motivated management accountant gets every opportunity to succeed. As your experience grows you will become more involved in the wider business and be able to take on more responsibility.

Ideally you will have obtained or be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification with previous exposure to management accounts/financial accounts. Consideration will also be given to those who can demonstrate strong practical experience within a similar role who are not qualified. You will also ideally have good communication skills, a high attention to detail and previous experience with Microsoft Excel.
