Commercial Finance Manager£55-60k + Excellent Benefits
Central London
Our client, a market leading, rapidly growing technology based SME are looking to source a bright and highly ambitious Commercial Finance Manager to join their growing Finance team. This highly visible role reports directly into the CEO. With year on year growth, and having recently acquired another business, this is an exciting time for the business and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to step up into a largely autonomous role where you can really add value and have a positive effect on the business. They envisage this role naturally developing into the future FD of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee all company valuations and both current and future investments, including intercompany
-Assist with company valuations and acquisition analyses
-Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
-Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
-Supervise and manage financial department staff, including external accountants
-Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including ensuring new software currently being developed internally
-Establish and implement financial reporting systems for new companies and buildings
-Develop budgets and financial plans for the companies based on research and data reports
-Review forecasts and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
-Report to the board with timely and accurate financial information
What we are looking for:
-Strong academic background with good A-level results and a 2:1 degree or above
-ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years PQE
-Experience of managing a small team
-Experience in Forecasting and modelling for future company acquisitions
-Very strong analytical mind set, strong Excel modelling and reporting skills
-Presentation skills and confidence in building relationships to business partner across the company and with senior management
