Finance Manager

I'm currently assisting a £6m T/O business in Shipley who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their business in a newly created role. This will be your opportunity to make your mark on the business with a number of projects and initiatives to manage and get involved with. The role will suit someone who enjoys working in an SME environment, enjoys a bit of banter, puts in the graft when needed and likes the challenge of improving processes and systems.

The role will be varied and the list of responsibilities below is not exhaustive. As with any role in an SME you will need to bring along a role your sleeves up and help where needed attitude.

• Month end management accounts
• Cash flow forecasting
• Payroll
• VAT
• Liaising with external accountants at year end
• Budgeting
• Invoicing
• Intercompany transactions

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Ideally ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA qualified but would consider PQ's with a couple of exams to go
• Previous experience of working in an owner managed SME
• Can do attitude
• Sage experience ideal but not essential
• The potential to step up into a more senior position as the business grows
