Senior FP&A Manager

Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA FP&A Manager, Retail/FMCG, Hertfordshire based, permanent opportunity paying up to £75,000 per annum plus excellent benefit's and bonus.

Out client who is a leading FMCG/Retail business based in Hertfordshire is recruiting for a senior FP&A Manager to work along side the director of group FP&A. Excellent working environment with good progression plans. A fantastic opportunity to join a well respected leading business

The ideal candidate will need to show:

• Understand financial performance, driving and tracking actions to deliver our big priorities and key targets.
• Create a clear and coherent story of performance and actions for use within the business unit and at a group level
• Complete the monthly rolling forecast and track risks & opportunities, identifying what options are available to deliver the plan each month.
• Communicate with relevant business functions on timetables & requirements.
• Ensure the GB forecasting process is fit for purpose, governed and documented appropriately.
• Work with the FP&A Senior Manager for Long Term Planning to ensure the Budget is completed robustly and ready for in-year performance tracking & understanding

The ideal candidate will need to posses:

• Strong business & financial awareness, understanding levers to drive revenue & profit is essential.
• Experience of managing cross functional planning processes is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to distil key messages and make recommendations from complex data and source is essential.
• Hands on experience of planning systems is essential (Hyperion is desirable)
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes is essential
