Senior Scorecard Analyst

Seymour John are recruiting for a high growth Financial Services group, based in Cardiff.  The business has recently embarked on a journey to diversify and expand its highly successful operation into Finance & Insurance markets within the UK and Europe.  Due to continued growth and investment in the Credit Risk function, we are recruiting for a number of specialist roles help take the business to the next level.  This is a broad remit with potential to cover different portfolios (secured and unsecured) including application modelling, credit risk modelling, stress testing and portfolio optimisation.

The Role:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of scorecards.
• Production of reports including scorecard monitoring and management information.
• Taking ownership of assigned projects and support of the Credit Risk and Scorecard manager.
• Identify areas for improvement and be prepared to challenge.
• Respond to specific requests from stakeholders and communicate results with staff from multiple functions across the business.
• Assist with the training and supervision of junior analysts.

Skills & Experience:

• Educated to degree level in a numerate subject (mathematics, statistics, operational research, engineering)
• Experience in a Credit Risk role developing scorecards/models.
• SAS coding skills.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
