A major business seeking a Head of Accounting to join their Leeds based UK Head office

Your new role
Ensure correct and smooth accounting processes throughout the year, to produce monthly accounts and annual statutory accounts and all accompanying processes or reports to third parties, as well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly and yearly management accounts with particular focus on smooth interfaces and good communication. The SAP accounting functions and non SAP processes are to be optimised in security and efficiency. The Head of Accounting & Administration is also responsible for compliance with all external requirements to figures, statistics and processes. Critical part of the role is the effective management of the Finance team covering the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and Financial Analyst including its interfaces with the remaining business as well as the support of administrative functions of the business in close liaison with the MD.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with a strong financial accounting background and experience within FMCG sector.
