Finance Administrator
Our client is a leading provider of technology-led, outbound and inbound Secure and Essential Communication Solutions to private and public sector clients. They produce vast quantities of secure documents for many industries such as the retail, financial, banking, education, government, healthcare and commercial sectors every year.
Position: Finance Administrator - Outwork
Location: Park Mill, Huddersfield - HD8 9QQ, commutable from Barnsley, Wakefield and Dewsbury

About the Finance Administrator role:
- Coding of Outwork Supplier Invoices
- Maintaining Excel spreadsheets by customer account, recording Supplier Invoices and Sales Invoices, and matching them
- Reconciling Stock records, to provide profit and loss information for the Final Accounts
- Liaising with Procurement and Customer Services to ensure that direct deliveries are receipted and invoiced, and outside storage stock levels are adjusted monthly
- Investigating discrepancies and generating accurate stock valuation
- Month End Accruals (reviewing Month End purchase invoice log)
- Processing adjustment journals on the General Ledger of the Nav system
- Extracting information for ad hoc reporting for the Exec Team
- Vetting of expense claims, and processing them through to payment stage
- Cashbook processing and reconciliation of bank statements
- Logging DP timesheets and matching against invoicing for Data Service work
- Logging Document Management timesheets and reconciling to staffing log, to provide reporting information to the Management Accountant
- Provide monthly graphs to analyse the performance of their post accounts and calculate working capital
- Provide cover for the invoicing and reconciliation of their Post, and provide assistance during periods of peak activity
- Maintain, update, and reconcile the sales forecast on a weekly basis
- Any other general requirements as specified by line manager
About you:
- GCSE English and Maths, Grade C and above (or equivalent level qualifications)
- Excel spreadsheet experience
- Experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Numerate - must be able to work comfortably and quickly with numbers
- Computer literate
