Management Accountant

SF Group are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an Interim Management Accountant to work for a leading business based in Pride Park, Derby. Initially for a 10 month fixed term contract, there is the real possibility due to the growth and expansion within the organisation for the role to become permanent in the future.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, your contribution will help this ambitious and expanding team continue its success in delivering top class management accounting support across the whole business. You will be involved in all levels from transaction posting to preparation of Executive Board reporting. You will draw on your experience of sound technical accounting skills to support and guide the operational teams in their financial performance management. Produce the monthly company revenue recognition reconciliation and production of full monthly reporting suite.

In order to be considered, you will be an Management Accountant, ideally part qualified or nearly qualified. QBE candidates will also be considered. This role will also require extensive experience of future forecast modelling in excel and therefore requires advanced excel skills, preferably with experience of SQL. Practical experience working within a busy finance team, delivering to strict deadlines and being responsible for own reporting outputs is essential. Previous experience of IRIS Exchequer Enterprise finance system would be desirable but not essential. You will have a friendly and approachable personality to fit well into the hard working team and be able to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
