A great opportunity has become available with an industry leading organisation for a tax professional based in Huntingdon. This permanent role will see you working with a diverse tax team and will focus specifically on the groups UK tax affaires. This position would ideally suit someone who has some tax or accountancy experience and are looking at progressing their career within a corporate tax team. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:
• Calculating UK VAT return alongside ECSL and Intrastat
• Quarterly calculation of CT payments.
• Assist with the preparation of group transfer pricing documentation
• Preparation of journals
• Liaising with external parties including auditors and HMRC to answer queries and provide assistance where necessary.
• Other ad hoc duties as required
To be considered for this position you will require the following skills and attributes:
• Prior experience of working within a busy finance department or a practice environment
• Studying ATT/CTA or be qualified with a CCAB recognised body and have a passion for taxation.
• Experience of R&D Tax credits would be beneficial but not essential.
• A passion for tax will be essential for this position and would ideally suit someone who is looking to grow and develop with the business.
