Our client, a highly successful global business are looking to recruit a dynamic European Financial Controller for their regional offices in Kent. With a focus on their people, this is a business that are passionate about what they do, strive for excellence and love helping people achieve their ambitions. The European Financial Controller will have responsibility for a large team on site and will be a key member of the senior management team across Europe. Key accountabilities include:
Candidates will be driven, results focussed and have attention to detail with a genuine enjoyment in managing and developing staff. A formal accountancy qualification will also be key along with a desire to add value. Occasional travel internationally will be involved. This is an excellent opportunity for a career driven candidate who enjoys working for a dynamic fast paced business.

- Managing the month end process and all associated reporting and commentary, ensuring strict deadlines are met
- Analysing company performance results, accounting for variances and conveying these to the business
- Acting as a business partner, ensuring results and key information are relayed and understood by the business
- Responsible for working capital and cash flow forecasting
- Coordinating the half year and year end process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
- Review and continual improvement of processes and controls
- Ad hoc project based work
