The European division (t/o $800m) of this US Corporation is a market leader within its sector.
The business has its own suite of leading edge products and an extensive installed equipment base. This gives it the perfect platform to grow in an environment where there is a thirst for the application of new technologies which promote operational efficiencies in business in a range of industry sectors.
This is a key role within the European finance team reporting into the CFO and offers a real opportunity for career advancement within this global business.
The Role:
- Lead and manage the HQ FP&A team (including resources supporting Commercial & Operations), while ensuring alignment with the Finance Directors and FP&A teams across Europe. Effectively manage these teams across multiple priorities.
- Lead all consolidated segment financial reporting and analytics including actuals and forecasts to the division ‘Global Platform’.
- Lead the monthly and quarterly forecasting activity and the annual strategic and operating planning cycles across Europe.
- Coordinate investment decisions within Europe ensuring effective prioritization towards high return, strategic investments.
- Support the Europe CFO in the development of presentations for management discussions.
The Candidate:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience which must include FP&A, alongside Commercial and/or Operations Finance experience.
- Experience in a dynamic, large company environment, ideally a US multinational with a matrix structure.
- Ability to lead and work effectively on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment alongside excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organisation.
- Strategic vision and the ability to add value beyond core finance skills.
- Self-motivated / proactive mind-set and project management skills are imperative to ensure proper collaboration across the various businesses and functional teams within the segment.
