Interim Head of Finance

Exclusive interim head of finance opportunity within Charity based in Manchester at £250 per day

Your new company
I am working exclusively in conjunction with a charity based in Manchester in order to recruit the organisation's 1st head of finance. The charity work closely with their local community and due to continued growth they now need a head of finance who can drive performance within the team.

Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team in order to implement processes and improve the quality of the finance team. It will be your responsibility to develop financial plans, prepare businesses cases and appraisals to ensure the financial viability of major development projects within the charity. You will work closely with the board and produce board reports. You will also complete month end and year end accounts, budgets & forecasts whilst overseeing payroll, sales ledger & purchase ledger.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with the gravitas to business partner with key stakeholders throughout the charity. You will need to experience of managing a team and an understanding of tax as well as either Sage or Quickbooks would be beneficial.
