Financial Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a successful organisation based in Worksop as the look to recruit a Qualified Financial Accountant. This is an incredibly exciting time to join this well-known brand as they enter a period of investment, strategy and further growth.

The successful Financial Accountant will be accountable for consolidation of the group results, preparation of financial reports for the shareholder and management and the assistance in setting accounting policies and monitoring of these policies and controls.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this position is key in driving results at such a key period of change.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

*Consolidation of Group financial results
*Preparation of monthly reporting packs
*Preparation of weekly business reports
*Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
*Assist with coordinating year-end audit and liaising with auditors
*Assist with tax compliance
*Setting up of accounting policies & ensuring overall financial compliance

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*ACA/ACCA Qualified
*Experience in preparation of financial statements
*Up to date IFRS experience & knowledge
*Self-starter able to work independently
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills
