Elevation Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and commercially astute Finance Analyst for a leading multinational manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe.

The role's main purpose will be to effectively deliver an efficient reporting and analytical service to the business unit that provides production and commercial information that both informs and challenges. The successful candidate will play an active part in the preparation, reporting and forecasting of the business results within P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-Flow Statements and the forecasting of certain elements of future business performance.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

*To produce, analyse and investigate financial information for the Commercial Director and their team to assist the decision making process to improve the bottom line results
*To attend relevant meetings and contribute to improving cashflow for the business by providing up to date financial analysis and present the commercial result for the business
*To prepare the Selling Annual Plan and monthly forecasts for the business unit by working with the Commercial Director and his management team and understand the mix of products, prices and margins to produce the best result possible
*To exhibit proactive behaviours in the field of continuous improvement and to propose different methods of presenting information as well as the introduction of automation and streamlining processes with the aim of adding value and speeding up the decision making process
*To develop effective working relationships with senior management and contribute towards building a centre of excellence for the provision of commercial KPIs

The successful candidate will require the following:

*ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified or part qualified
*Sound knowledge of manufacturing, Commercial and IT processes are essential
*Knowledge of accounting principles/concepts and good decision making techniques
*Knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-Flow compilation

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, possess strong excel and analytical skills and will be comfortable working as part of a wider team or using own initiative.
