Group Financial Controller

Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable employer of choice in the Rotherham area from within the utilities sector who are looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller.

You will be reporting directly into the CFO and be the key lead for all strategic, commercial and group accounting.

Group and management reporting will be key, as will the forecasting and planning as well as the management and development of a team of 7 including accountants, financial analysts and graduates.

The opportunity will present a real chance for you to join a well-established market leader who can provide all of the experience necessary to become a true finance leader at a controller level.

You should be an ambitious accountant, who has a real desire to develop and grow in a very hands on and commercial business. You must be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA with an exceptional career history that should include an industry move following qualification within the profession, any experience within utilities, production, manufacturing or engineering would also be advantageous.
