Group Financial Controller

Our client, a highly successful, international business based in Cambridgeshire, has a requirement for a Group Financial Controller following a restructure.

Reporting to the Director of Director of Corporate Finance, the Group Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process & will develop financial systems and processes to support continuous improvement. In addition, the role supports the external compliance requirements of the Group on an International level, including regulatory filings and audit processes.

The Group Financial Controller will possess strong technical knowledge and is likely to have trained with a large audit firm, and will ideally have already made the move into Industry & Commerce, although consideration will be given to a high calibre first time mover from a top tier audit firm.

The role will work closely with the Director of Corporate Finance and will provide sound technical input and strong planning and analytical support to key business decisions and direction.

The role is responsible for managing a small team, who are working on reporting, consolidations and head office accounting.

The successful candidate will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with significant PQE. You will possess strong technical knowledge (US GAAP preferred), coupled with experience of reporting to external investors.
